The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
